A fairway wood + hybrid(idk what brand)
Im deciding on the wedges, either callaway x tour vintage lob wedge and maybe gap wedge or just a lob wedge

Hi Guys,

I recently started golfing with my school golf team, and when my coach told the country club that he had some new golfers, they gladly donated a TON of balls. We were told to just go ahead and take them by the handful. …which we all gladly did. My question is…

Regardless of price, skill, level of the golfer, everything in a vaccuum, what are the best balls? Which balls should I save for the games, and which ones should I have no problem with hammering into the woods/water when I have the urge to drive?

PS: I fully understand “the best” is ProV1′s, I luckily have 8 of those I will cherish.

Basically, you can look up the price of any ball online as a general barometer of its quality. PRO-V and PRO-V 1′s, as well as the Callaway “tour” models are generally top of the line balls, but you can do well with the NXT series as well. But there are a few things to keep in mind.
1) check the actual quality of the ball you are choosing. Look for cuts, scuffs and imperfections that will affect the playability.
2) you are, by your own admission, a beginner. It really doesn’t matter which ball you choose to play, it probably won’t affect you ability much.
3) watch what the more experienced players snag.

Well for the driver, Go with the R7 because for a begginner you dont need a $ 500 club. also the 460cc head will be more forgiving than a 420cc head.

As for irons, the X22′s would be the best for a begginer because they are the most forgiving but are still very good irons.

Putters, you will have to test them each out because you have to have the right feel when hitting the ball, which is different for everyone and every club.

Hi! In 2008 I went to a golf shop to return my 2006 callaway big-bertha irons re-gripped. I was troops with the golf professional there and he had me endeavor either a taylor made iron teeth or a titleist iron dentition. I deliberation it was taylor made, but I am not sure. Anyway, I loved the awareness of these irons, and he said they would gain my way. I am present look for new irons (my callaway’s don’t cognizance access anymore) and would sort to return the unity I just mentioned. Unfortunately, the golf shop went putout of concern. of the putter you listed, the scotty cameron is the “attempt.” just about all of the nine putout on the marketplace are all very commonweal, and it just semen feather to personal taste. with the driver, all 3 of them are very commonweal driver, and i semen feather to personal predilection. once again, Sami situation with the irons, they are all very commonweal nine, it just seed plume to personal predilection.
