I’m looking for new irons because my Ping’s I have aren’t that great, and I’m missing a few clubs. I’m looking into the Taylor Made Burner’s, the King Cobra SZ, and S9; but am open to other options. I’ve heard good things about the FT irons from Callaway and basically I’m kinda bombarded with a bunch of decisions. which club, which stiffness. I’m a high handi-capper and I’m looking for that nice club. Please Help.

Callaway Golf Clubs Will Change Your Game – Part Two

Another innovative design feature with Fusion Technology is the ability to optimize the center of gravity location in the club head. Because Callaway is capable of properly positioning the center of gravity, there is also the opportunity for longer distance. In addition, the club head can be optimized for a draw, neutral or fade bias to offset golfer shot tendencies.

The development and creation of Callaway FT drivers such as is quite complex. A carbon composite club head creation process begins with fine strands of black carbon fiber, woven together. Each strand is extremely thin, approximately one tenth the size of a human hair. These fibers are combined with epoxy resin and a carbon pre-preg is formed. When many of the pre-preg composites are put together into a driver body shaped tool, the process continues. Each piece is added to the tool in a different direction, allowing more strength to be created as the fibers harden. As the hardening is taking place, weights are put into the internal areas for maximum center of gravity and balance. With the sole and the crown tools being put together and heated in an oven, the materials bind together to form a tough shell.

Callaway has a well standing reputation with its Callaway Big Bertha drivers(for example, ), which have been used for many years by professionals and amateurs. Callaway’s introduction of the FT driver came in 2003 with the , followed by the FT-5 and FT-i in recent years. The new 2009 has been praised by golf enthusiasts, including the Golf Digest Hot List award, due to its advancements in technology, testing results and player impact on the course. Callaway Golf Clubs Will Change Your Game – Part One

September 23, 2011

So we already have a general understanding about Callaway golf. Then today let us see how callaway golf clubs change our game. Nowadays a kind of technology named Fusion Technology currently being utilized by Callaway Golf. This technology has the potential to change the entire sport of golf, forever. This inertial design was created by Callaway Golf engineers in hopes of creating a design which balances all of the clubs’ best features, while optimizing club and player performance. The designers strived to stay away from directly concentrating on any one characteristic. Instead, they chose to explore all characteristics, to ensure the overall performance of the club was maintained in a balanced manner.

The goal in using Fusion Technology is not only to better overall performance, but to also make the give optimum performance when hit off-center (with irons and woods). Using this technology helps the ball have maximum flight and distance, even when it’s not hit directly in the middle of the clubface. This is mostly due to Callaway’s design feature offering minimal clubhead movement when impact occurs.

The increased stability of the clubhead is important. Stability is measured by Moment-of-Inertia and when the MOI is raised on the vertical and horizontal axes, an unmatched stability can be maintained. The experts at found by matching the rise in MOI with the positioning of weight to the perimeter of the head of the club they could create stability no matter where the ball was struck. Thus, the innovative discovery led to less twisting of the club’s head when off-center hits occurred. In addition, a clubhead with less rotation also leads to greater distance, greater ball speed and the ability to make the flight path straighter.

The secret behind the FT Irons is fairly simple. The metallurgists at Callaway Golf created a new metal to feature in the irons’ designs. The metal, Tunite Alloy, weighs about 20 percent more than stainless steel. In addition, it has twice the density and is made of a tungsten and nickel base. With a small amount of silicon added for softness and ferro-chromium for polishing capabilities, the metal is a perfect fit. The tunite forms are used for all Callaway FT Irons. For instance, a set of also include a injection-molded thermoplastic urethane layer. This layer sits behind the clubface, allowing for more vibration reduction and an enhanced feel.

Callaway doesn’t build it’s for professionals alone. They seek to create products amateur golfers can utilize to not only enjoy but also improve their game. One mission for Callaway FT clubs is the ability to take an average golfer and minimize the impact of their flaws. The new FT drivers are said to allow amateurs hit straighter and longer than they’ve ever done before. The clubs are made to be forgiving of minor flaws in swing and power. Using thirster nine will most likely antecedent a rebuff step-down in truth and a rebuff add-on to striking way. Chances are that the 1/4″ won’t brand a big sufficiency distinctness for a 15 disability to truly caveat, granted you proceeds clip to utilization the new nine and return used to them. If you are disorder feather on the club so much that you are run putout of area on the clasp I would recommend having them shortened, but otherwise it would not be halfpennyworth the expense and capitulation of club tension. Hope this assistance!

A Few Tips To Think About Prior To Buying New Clubs For Golf

Juni 26, 2010

Too many golfers think they need the absolute best golf clubs in order to compete. While getting bad clubs or the wrong type for you can be detrimental, the clubs should never be considered as the deciding factor between as good round of golf and a bad round.

Pros and their caddies are very aware of the importance of the right clubs, but it might surprise you to find that many experienced amateurs don’t really understand what makes good clubs, for them.

Money Isn’t Everything

In the case of golf clubs it may be satisfying to keep up with the latest developments from manufacturers, but the changes are incremental, plus they need skill to get the most out of, in lots of cases.

While it pays to buy quality, you’ll get essentially the most out of things if you get a very good understanding of what you wish to improve. So, even skilled players can do well to keep this in mind. Believe me, it is easy for anybody to be lured by the promise of a shiny new club.
Make sure you read Golf swing tips

Perceive And Improve

Take for instance, the method of upgrading a driver. It’s simple to have a look at all the options and choose the costliest, or the flashiest, most high tech looking example. But, until you understand the need, in your golf game, which you want to address, you’ll most likely pick the unsuitable one. Either that, or you’ll fail to get the most out of its benefits.

In the case of the brand new driver you’ll have to give attention to whether or not you want extra distance or extra accuracy, Remember that each golfer’s want is different. This want might also fluctuate within the run of your golfing development.
Head over to beginner golf tips

If you’re conscious that your accuracy is missing, likelihood is that you’ll spend time working on it, until there’s little or no want for an accuracy enhancing driver. At this stage, you can probably switch to a driver that focuses on distance. The more you improve your swing skills, the extra luxury of alternative you’ll have.

As You Develop, So Do The Clubs

Keeping in mind that your club needs to develop together with your game is important to managing your improvements.

Whenever you start off, cast iron clubs are typically beneficial as they have a larger ‘sweet spot’ than forged clubs. As your game develops and your swing management improves, you’ll discover that forged clubs offer you better control of the trajectory of the ball. In fact you’ll have to have good control to get the most out of them, due to that smaller sweet spot.

Don’t, as a newcomer, be tempted to think that you should buy these more advanced, forged clubs now, due to a future need. Work on improving your game with ‘easier’ golf equipment first. You’ll usually know when your clubs are holding you back. Besides, it won’t help you to keep away from pointless purchases, sooner or later, if you happen to start off on that path!

The Sweet Spot And Club Measurement

The sweet spot of a club is absolutely vital, as it dictates the margin of error available to a golfer. It’s the explanation why there are a variety of choices obtainable, in terms of the size of a golf club’s head. As a rule, the smaller the head of the club, the smaller the margin of error available.

So, with that in mind, experienced players ought to find small headed clubs to be beneficial, while those of a beginner to intermediate stage ought to discover a medium sized head more forgiving.

Large or oversized club heads may seem logical to beginners, following this ‘smaller is more advanced’ logic. This is a bad idea, however, as particularly large heads will reduce the amount of control you have over the ball, limiting your development as a golfer.

So those are the tips on picking golf clubs. I hope they have helped you and they can save you some time and money if you were planning on getting the wrong types of clubs. Choosing wisely will enable you to get better quicker and really progress your game.
