Juni 19, 2011
Why is it that I tin only breakthrough “ringer” or aftermarket complete loan-blend iron set. With the much hyped contest tenderization capability that loanblend irons have to offering I was wondering wherefore I HAVE NOT seen any of the capital agnomen marque manufacturer offering any of the complete loan-blend set?? I have seen a mates no agnomen set online at usage club company sort “pinyon hayfield golf .com” and “golf club fore less.com”. I worship these loanblend and would sort to return an appearance agnomen marque dentition but cannot discovery any with the elision of the Cleveland HI-BORE. and Adams only offer a derivative loan-blend teeth . Do I demand to bow to my Ping G5′s They are city forgiving traditional irons but probably not as forgiving as a loan-blend teeth. Should I learn to drama bettor with the traditonal irons or will everyone soon be bowing with complete loanblend set ???? Why dosnt TaylorMade or Callaway or Nike or Cobra .. offering complete loan-blend iron set ??????

Complete Hybrid set would be omitting that the measure..forged irons dont wash..Hard to do when 70% of the professional player drama bladed forged irons or some nature of loan-blend forged pit dorsum sort the ping52s

Take a look at the Adams Idea Tech O.S iron sets. Hybrids from 3 to 6 in regular sets and 3 to 7 irons in the senior sets. It’s an older set 2 – 3 years old and not made anymore, but available on the internet. Or look at the new Adams Idea a 70 S Max Hybrid Irons…even the pitching wedge is a hybrid iron.
Most players look at hybrids to replace their harder-to-hit 2-iron, 3-iron, and 4-irons. Most (even mediocre) players can hit their low irons (6-iron to 9-iron). Therefore, while the 4-hybrid and 3-hybrid might be huge sellers, a 5-hybrid and 6-hybrid might not sell nearly as often. It’s the same reason that you don’t see many 2-iron and 1-iron sets. Manufacturers have to weigh both demand and price-point when deciding what to supply.
There have been a few, and none ever caught on, and probably at least part of the reason the majors have been remiss to make a complete set, but realistically as irons in a set get shorter the need for a wide sole all but diminishes and can make the clubs problematic to hit crisp shots. But people aren’t looking for help hitting their short irons anyway, and another reason why nobody’s making short iron hybrids, they just want help with the mid to long irons.
Nothing wrong with mixing and matching to make up a set that works for you.
If you can’t hit an 8 or 9 iron, or wedges then there’s no use playing golf. Most teaching pros say an amateur should not hit anything over a 5 iron anyway. They make hybrids to replace 5 and 6 irons, but IMO, a golfer should be able to hit a 5 iron. That is why most hybrid sets are 5-pw. You should definitely learn to play with a 5 or 6 iron. There will never be a complete hybrid set. They make irons for higher handicappers that are easier to hit than a forged cavity or blade iron.
