Which driver should I buy? (loft, draw, etc.)?

Hi all… just in the market for a new driver to help out my golf game. I currently shoot in the high 80′s to low 90′s. My irons are Nike Slingshot OSS and I absolutely love them. I have an older Callaway Big Bertha driver, but I’m looking to replace it. I’m pretty sure that I’m settled on a Taylor Made Burner Driver, but I’m just not sure what configuration I want. For example, should I get the 9.5 or 10.5 degree club? Also, should I go for the Draw version or the regular version? As of now, I don’t slice the ball too bad, but it does fade on occassion. Thanks in advance for all the help.

I would just stick to what you Callaway driver was in loft, but i would get a 10.5. The Taylormade Burner is a really nice driver. If i were you i would just get the regular one because you do not slice that much. If you want to hit a draw though then get the draw.

I used the Taylor Made Burner Driver Draw 9.5 and it help on my fade . I suggest try both Burner 9.5 and 10.5 see which one is best for you. If you hitting fade try to get the higher loft. Good Luck!
You are making things too complicated. If you are shooting in the high 80s to 90s a new driver will not be the magic wand you are seeking. .First , forget all the degree of loft, draw version and features like those. Spend more time on chipping, putting and short irons until you have achieved a level where you are satisfied with the results. These are the shots which will help you score.The old Big Bertha will do you justice. Just learn to keep the drives in the fairway.
Instead of asking a bunch of people who have none of the same swing characteristic’s as you you should go to your local range or golf superstore and try every driver you can to see what is the best configuration for you, in other words get fitted for the club, the biggest mistake people do now is buy a club because of its name or because it works good for someone else , if you get fitted you will get a club with the proper shaft for your swing speed and the proper loft ect……
so do your self a favor and get fitted you will enjoy the game a lot more

The 10.5 loft will go a little straighter than the 9.5 as well as a little higher. I would stay away from the draw version unless you have a big fade/slice problem.
take 75 bucks and go to your largest golf store and get on a launch monitor. That will give you the correct loft, shaft, club, and ball that will have ideal trajectory, spin rate, and distance. In most cases that 75 dollars that you spent on the monitor can be put towards a new club. Take advantage of the technology and don’t listen to other people telling you what degree to get because everyones swing is completely different.
