What is the best way to remove knicks and scratches from the face of stainless steel golf irons?

Question by CK: What is the better fashion to withdraw knicks and excoriation from the visage of untarnished alloy golf irons?
I am acquiring my nine preparation for the period and seat some imperfectness in the countenance of my irons. They are stainless metal Callaway irons. Any suggestion on how to distance the knicks and scrape. Please be particular when suggesting sanding and buffing. Thanks!How Fine? Do you have a Sandpaper Number?

    Yeah, use the finest grit automotive finishing sandpaper you can find, and VERY gently address the scuffs and scratches. Don’t want to start removing the club finish! Some automotive metal polishes (eg Meguiar’s) work well too, at least diminishing the look and appearance of the scratches.

    If you get a scratch or something on the head of a driver or wood, pour some Coke on it. It works i promise.

    get a dremal tool and use the buffer ends
