Q&A: Cheap club sets or wood sets?
August 12, 2011
I would sort 2 drama golf and I always played ball in the summertime so I’ve never really played before. I’d form to return to the attractor where I tin drama a class and not embarass myself 2 badness lol. My daddy has a past dentition of Ping nine. They were chapiter of the formation but that was 15-20 yr ago. He has actual bentwood driver thats how past lol. I would kind to steal an unit new dentition if I could return a commonweal terms but I definitely demand a new busman and 3 and 5 bentwood or whatever. So where tin I return these? What site? How about used? What brand are commonweal, since Ping, Nike, Callaway, etc. are putout of the interrogation, most likely, how are the other lesser known cheaper marque…Ram, Adams, etc. I demand men’s club not junior. So I neediness to return cheap but decent golf club…I definitely demand a new bentwood teeth but I weighing I demand an unit new dentition. I seat some on Ebay really cheap– $ 139-$ 179 Wilson Blackjack dentition. How is this? Dick’s sporting good has cheap set for variety 179. How r they?Any assist appreciated. Thanks!

Try E bay for used nine. What was commonweal 5 year ago is exposure commonweal present. And those Ping irons? Use them as they are commonweal nine.

For a beginner, these cheaper sets will work out just fine for you. Nothing against ebay, but for a purchase like this, it is really better to go to a store and see how the clubs feel in your hands. Maybe take someone with you that is a little more experienced. The old Pings are probably great clubs and the irons would probably do just fine for you, but those cheaper sets come with everything, so you might as well treat yourself to a whole set. Personally, I think Callaway is overrated. I have Tour edge, which I love. I also like the Pings and some of the Nike clubs, but don’t get caught up in all the new crap that Nike is trying to put out to gain customers. You might want to try a Play it again Sports or another used sporting goods store, but if the price is not that different, go with a cheaper new set. Once you start playing and know that you will continue to play, that is when you may want to stay away from cheap sets at Dicks or Sports Authority and get clubs from a pro shop at a course where you trust the staff. Good luck and remember that golf is a very patient game and no one is good when they first start. You will get better.
Any o the newer clubs today are better than the Ping golf clubs of fifteen to twenty years ago. All of them are weighted differently and they help to make the ball get up in the air quicker. Your best bet is to either go to a play it again sports, or another sporting goods store, and try to pick up a set which is fairly inexpensive.
Have you seen the store, “Rock Bottom Golf?” They have all the top brands like Callaway, taylormade, Ping, etc. and for crazy prices. I don’t know how it’s so cheap. They have a driver thats $ 400, brand new, this year’s model, for $ 250.

If you can explore Adams clubs, although not the new generation of clubs, their prices are very reasonable and their performance is as good as any other brand in the market. These clubs are built for FORGIVENESS that is what you need when starting up. Look them up in rockbottomgolf.com
I buy all my clubs from Ebay. I usually go to Edwin Watts.. try a few different ones .. find something I like and see what kind of deal they have and then find it on Ebay for a better price .. just remember when shopping consider freight charges…
